Well, I may be slightly biased, but Eastport ME has the largest 4th of July festival in the state. May take some work to get there, but it’s worth the trip! : )

The Orlando fireworks are always worth the trip to see. Let’s remember the soldiers on this 4th, who have purchased our freedom. http://vultair.wordpress.com/

you missed the best. for decades i watched the biggest display, on the mall in washington. recently, i’ve been watching the displays in the best place in the world. no raincoats, ponchos or any other guard against the weather. we always know what it’s going to be. i did have to move a bit because a palm tree blocked some of the view. lahaina, hawaii. eat your hearts out.

Who can afford to travel anymore? My girlfriend’s brother had enough fireworks to flatten a neighbor’s house. Doing it yourself and hanging out with family and friends is the way to go.
